The Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling has nominated Strathcarron Hospice as its official charity for 2016.
Phil Byrne, Centre Director of The Thistles said: “Strathcarron Hospice is a most deserving charity. The expertise and professionalism of its staff and volunteers brings immeasurable comfort and support for patients and families, and the entire team at The Thistles is delighted and proud to be working with the organisation as our charity partner. We look forward to delivering a range of fundraising activities through 2016 to support the hospice.”
Claire Macdonald, Business Development Fundraiser at Strathcarron added: “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with The Thistles this year and we’re already working on a number of exciting events. At the Hospice, we have a challenging target of raising over £11,000 each and every day of the year in order to keep our full range of services running. We are grateful to all of the retailers for nominating Strathcarron Hospice as the official charity for 2016 and look forward to the year ahead.”
