Strathcarron Hospice Fundraisers, Claire and Coleena, were delighted to visit Falkirk Stadium last week to receive a framed print as a gift from the memorable match against Rangers as well as a donation from the sales of additional signed programmes sold in the shop. All surplus programmes from the 3-2 victory over Rangers were signed by the 3 goal scorers and sold for £10 with all proceeds going to the Hospice.
Kieran Koszary, Commercial Manager, Falkirk FC said: “The match was a fitting tribute to our charity partners at Strathcarron Hospice and it was memorable night for everyone connected with the club. As always we are proud to support such a fantastic cause and are honoured to be partners with the hospice.”
Claire Macdonald, Business Development Fundraiser, Strathcarron Hospice: “On behalf of all at Strathcarron Hospice, I’d like to say thank you to our partners Falkirk Football Club and to everyone involved on the day. The collection raised just under £1,700 which is a fantastic amount and will help us to continue supporting terminally ill people in our communities. As all of our services are carried out free of charge for our patients and their families, we are incredibly grateful for these donations.”
