Local butcher shop, Patricks of Camelon, has donated £1,500 to Strathcarron Hospice following a summer BBQ promotion.
The award-winning butcher donated 25% from the sales of specially-branded ‘Strathcarron Hospice’ BBQ packs which were on offer throughout May-July. This coincided with our own ‘Sizzle for Strathcarron’ campaign that encouraged the local community to host a BBQ at home or at work in aid of Strathcarron to help raise vital funds.
Claire Macdonald, Business Development Fundraiser, commented: “With over £11,000 to raise every day to keep our services running, we do rely on the support of local community and we are incredibly grateful to Patricks of Camelon for generously supporting the Hospice in this way.”
