We are absolutely thrilled to announce that one of the most famous cars in the world, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is currently in the Riverside Museum of Transport in Glasgow and is there to fundraise for the hospice !
We had a call from its owner, Gordon Grant who lives locally telling us that a close family friend of his was recently cared for in the hospice, and he wanted to `give something back` for the wonderful care she received. Since that call a few months ago, Chitty has been on display at the National Motor Museum as one of their featured cars in the collection but will now reside in Glasgow for the next 4 months fundraising for us !
Entry to the museum is free but there is a specially made collection box set up in front of Chitty to drop coins and notes into, so please pop along and have your photo taken with this wonderfully iconic car… and don`t forget to sing the theme song from the film while you`re there!
